Large Scissors/Shears

My first attempt at making scissors/shears. I chose these simple handles for the first try and will do more complicated ones for the next couple of pairs. I really enjoyed this learning curve. Getting them to cut just right took some time, but they now cut very nicely. I have yet to rivet them together but next time I am at the forge thats what I will do. They are a bit heavier/thicker than I meant them to be but my next pair are going to be much thinner.
material: mild steel for the body, High carbon forge welded to the inside of the blades
finish: baked on oil
