I recently showed the scraps of my first attempt at buckskinning to someone at my work. Upon seeing them they asked me to make a pouch for them. No specifications on design. So this is what I came up with. I hope they like it. :d I know I do:D

Made from scraps of buckskin made from deer hide I tanned myself. All holes were poked with a bone awl. All the thong was cut by hand from the same scrap peices.

Thank you. The lacing is necissary in buckskin not because it will unravel like cloth but because it will stretch out so a simple stitch can be used to keep any deformation from happening.

To bad you don't live near me. I just finished "braining" two hides that turned out so soft I cant help touching them every time I walk by them.
