this is a messy feather headdress I made a while back. I am thinking of adding some small feathers to the core of it. Or perhaps some darker fur. It is held in my braided hair by two pointed wood shafts that I made. I think I might also make a leather peace to hold it in my hair better. I have always been quite interested in the messy feather headresses I have seen. I loved the way they move when the native dancers move. and hell I just like feathers a lot
This is really awesome! Did you find the feathers or buy them for somewhere? I think it would look really nice with some more smaller feathers in the center; it would fill it out a little more. Its still awesome, regardless!

last weekend I worked on it some more and added more feathers. I walk a lot. every day in fact to and from work in the downtown minneapolis area and I am constantly picking up just about every feather I see. through all my long walks I have amassed quite a large bundle of feathers. way to many for one head dress. some of the larger ones I bought but that is very few feathers. I also have some from some chickens I killed and ate a while back that I might add to it along the core. I have some ideas for it but we will see how they all pan out. and thank you for the compliments.

Blood does flow through my vains that once flowed through some of the natives of puerto rico. thank you grandma and grandpa who came from two small viligis in puerto rico.
