I have been meaning to make some simple tools. Really simple and easy to make but very usefull. Made from scraps I had around that just luckely bolted together completely square and flush. Given to me by the same naber who gave me my anvil. Used to file/grind ricasso area or other seperations on a knife. Safe files must be used with this because the bars are unhardened. When grinding it would be set to ride along the side of the platten to controll plung grinds or other seperations.

Insperation from many of the ricasso filling jigs people have shared on line.

knife in jig is one of many I am working on at the moment.
