shaving horse

Made from plans given to me from a fellow blacksmith. It was in one of his woodworking magazines. I needed a new shaving horse and this seemed like a very nice design. I am only missing a little leather to glue onto the bar and work rest. The seat was cushioned and covered with reclaimed materials so its not as nice as I would have liked to make it but it works and I didn't have to go get it. The work rest works on a ratchet system so you can raise and lower it quickly to best fit the piece you are working on.

All hand sawn and drilled with a brace and bit.
